You are warmly invited to this year’s “Hemodialysis Access Annual Symposium: 2024 Keeping Pace with the Times.” The event will be held on July 28, 2024. This year the event expands to the Taipei and New Taipei area, bringing together leading experts in hemodialysis and related fields to discuss practical clinical experience and heartwarming stories of care.
At this symposium you will have the chance to hear from
- Prof. Yu-Wei Fang, Chief of Nephrology, Shin Kong Hospital will present “Dialysis with Peace of Mind: Starting with Phosphorus”, explaining in detail the key points of dialysis preparation and care.
- Prof. Ching-Chung Hsiao, Chief of Nephrology, New Taipei City Tucheng Hospital will share “Protecting the Lifeline”, offering practical care strategies and professional advice.
- Prof. Mei-Ching Yu, Chief of Pediatric Nephrology, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Linkou will speak on “A Look into Heartwarming Stories of Children on Dialysis”, bringing a moving treatment story.
- Te-Sheng Chen, physical therapist, Quanxin Da’an Clinic, speaking from personal experience, will share his journey from peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis to kidney transplantation, along with key notes on protecting the kidneys and exercise and health for kidney protection.
- Dr. Ta-Wei Su, Hemodialysis Access Care Team, physician / CEO will also talk about the team’s philosophy and characteristics, so that together we can raise the quality of care.
This symposium is not only a gathering for academic exchange but also a platform where medical staff discuss face to face and grow together. Through the experts’ excellent talks and shared experience, we hope to help more patients dialyze with peace of mind and lead healthier lives.
