2023 Taiwan Vascular Therapy (TVT) and the 31st Shin Kong Hospital Academic Conference
Bringing together peripheral-vascular experts from hospitals across Taiwan: cardiovascular surgery, cardiology, interventional radiology and related specialties
Topics include: lower-limb arterial ischemia and occlusion / aortic disease / hemodialysis access / venous thrombotic disease
This year, besides inviting Japanese cardiologist Dr. Yoshimitsu Soga (Kokura Memorial Hospital) and Dr. Edward Choke
(Sengkang Health, Singapore) to share new developments in lower-limb arterial occlusion,
the meeting also arranged several live-demonstration operations, in which the demonstrating surgeons, on-site experts and the audience jointly discussed and took part in decisions for the live procedures
Dr. Ta-Wei Su was invited by the conference to give a keynote in the lower-limb arterial disease session: “Calcified SFA re-entry techniques,” sharing how severely calcified, occluded leg arteries from critical limb ischemia can be treated successfully in a minimally invasive way

Through two days of academic meetings and joint discussion by experts in every field, we believe the field of peripheral vascular therapy in Taiwan will advance further
