The first Taoyuan Hemodialysis Access Symposium will be held on September 17 this year. The event is co-hosted by Chang Shen Vascular Center and the Taiwan Society for Vascular Surgery, with the Taiwan Society of Nephrology Nursing and the Taiwan Primary Dialysis Association as co-organizers.
This year’s symposium has four very practical clinical topics.
- Nephrologist Dr. Shih-Chieh Lin shares valuable experience and key points from many years of clinically caring for patients
- Ms. Shu-Tzu Chen, director of the Taiwan Nutrition Society and convener of its group, shares details to watch in patients’ daily diet and life
- Vascular surgeon Dr. Pin-Chao Feng shares how surgeons can communicate more efficiently with dialysis unit staff
- Vascular surgeon Dr. Ta-Wei Su shares the clinical use and advantages of early cannulation grafts
Symposium credits include: nursing education credits / Taiwan Society of Nephrology physician education credits / Taiwan Society of Nephrology Nursing continuing education credits for dialysis staff
Through the exchange at the symposium, clinical caregiving physicians and nurses and the teams related to hemodialysis care can communicate and discuss face to face, build consensus, and raise the quality of care together.

@Because of enthusiastic registration, the September symposium is full; another symposium has been added on October 22 (registration full)
